Our Programs

Entrepreneurship &
Economic Empowerment

Fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance through mentorship, business skills, and startup support for women and girls.

When Women Run Businesses, Families Thrive

Financial independence is one of the most powerful tools for women's empowerment. When a woman earns her own income, she gains decision-making power at home, can invest in her children's education, and becomes a driver of economic growth in her community.

EWDO's Entrepreneurship program equips women with the business knowledge, mentorship, and financial tools to start and grow their own enterprises — from market stalls and sewing businesses to agriculture and service ventures.

We combine practical training with ongoing mentorship and peer networks so graduates continue to grow long after the program ends.

From Nothing to a Thriving Business

"I came to the EWDO business training with no money and no idea how to run a business. I left with a plan, a loan through their microfinance partner, and a mentor who checks on me every month. Now I sell groceries and household goods. I pay school fees for all three of my children."
