About Us

Our Story &
What Drives Us

Ekwendeni Women Dawa Organisation was born from a simple but powerful belief: when women thrive, entire communities flourish. Founded in 2019 in Ekwendeni, we set out to address the social, economic, and health challenges facing women and girls in Northern Malawi.

Through partnerships with local and international organisations, EWDO delivers programs that transform lives — from educational workshops and health campaigns to GBV support and entrepreneurship mentorship.

Education is Liberation
