Healthy Women, Thriving Communities
Access to healthcare in rural Northern Malawi remains a significant challenge. Women and girls often lack information about reproductive health, maternal care, nutrition, and mental well-being. Distance from facilities, cost, and stigma further reduce access.
EWDO bridges this gap by bringing health education and services directly to communities. We train community health volunteers, run mobile outreach clinics, and partner with Ekwendeni Mission Hospital and other health facilities to ensure women get the care they need.
A woman who is healthy can participate fully in education, economic life, and community leadership.
